Easy to use and helpful, MyFitnessPal will provide assistance to the user as they strive to reach their goal weight. It will provide the maximum amount of calories they should be taking in each day. Many would say that when on a diet, the least enjoyable aspect of the experience is the act of counting calories. With this app it is made a little bit more manageable. Donning a database of millions of food entries and their caloric worth, all one has to do is simply search for what they ate and enter it into their diary. MyFitnessPal will also keep track of the exercise they have put in that day, informing them how many calories they burned and then updating their calories still remaining.

The app also attempts to motivate users through a few of its options. They can invite their friends to the app and post about how much weight they have lost or what they did that day. They can use a chart to track how much weight they have lost since it all started, illustrating improvement over time.
