If you’ve been a reader of Thedroidguy since the beginning and our thedroidguy.info days you may remember back room and bathroom pics, they were a way of securing pre-release photos and stories of some of the newer phones.
Well today we’ve got some Pantech Breakout bathroom pics. Partially because we’re still in the Verizon penalty box, but it’s hard for the man to keep us down. Although the Pantech Breakout isn’t a monstrous super phone, it is the first mid-range Android handset that will work on Verizon Wireless’ 4G/LTE network. Despite the fact we are calling it midrange it still has a reasonably impressive spec sheet.
More after the break
The Pantech Breakout will have a 1ghz single core processor, front and rear facing cameras, 4 inch WVGA screen, Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” and physical buttons at the bottom. It also has a compact form factor, and from the pic shown here, it’s not all that thick. The back of the phone has a rougher exterior so it’s easier to hold. It’s also been reported that tethering on a Pantech Breakout will allow up to 10 devices (WOW)
We’re expecting this device on Thursday.
