Our friends at pocketnow have gotten their hands on press shots for the upcoming Pantech Breakout and Samsung Illusion. The Pantech Breakout was originally leaked in a comparison chart last month, and now there’s a front and back shot to support it.
The Pantech Breakout will be one of Verizon Wireless’ mid-range 4G/LTE devices. This will be a great way to get an affordable, good functioning Android device onto the 4G/LTE network. The Pantech Breakout is believed to sport a 1ghz single car processor, 4 inch WVGA screen, 5 mega-pixel camera, front facing webcam and tethering support for 10 devices.
The other mid-range device reportedly coming to Verizon is the Android powered Samsung Illusion. The Samsung Illusion seems to be Verizon’s version of the Samsung Exhibit 4G and the Samsung Conquer 4G. There’s not much that has directly leaked out about the Samsung Illusion however one of our better Verizon ninjas said it will be right inline with the Conquer 4G. If that’s the case we can expect a 3.5 inch screen, 3 mega-pixel camera, 1.3mp front facing camera and a 1ghz processor.
Both the Pantech Breakout and the Samsung Illusion are expected to debut with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
