Both devices were unveiled during T-Mobile’s Keynote at the conference. The HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II will take advantage of T-Mobile’s faster 4G (HSPA+ 42). T-Mobile says that both of these devices will browse the internet faster than the average home connection with an average download speed of 8mbps and peak speeds of 20mbps.
The HTC Amaze 4G is said to have the best camera available on any smartphone, even outdoing the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide. The Amaze 4G features an 8 mega pixel camera capable of shooting true 1080p HD video. On top of that it has a backside illuminated sensor, zero shutter lag, and a dual LED flash for awesome pictures in low light.
Under the hood the Amaze 4G is packing a 1.5ghz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor. It’s running Android 2.3.4 which means Gtalk with video over 3G, 4G or wifi. It will run the latest version of HTC Sense on top.

T-Mobile also officially put the word out that yes their processor in their Samsung Galaxy S II is different. Although in the official announcement they didn’t say who made the processor they did say it’s a 1.5ghz dual core which is .3ghz faster than the Galaxy S II on AT&T and Sprint.
The HTC Amaze 4G and the Samsung Galaxy S II should be available in October. The Galaxy S II is expected to go up for presale October 10th and for sale at T-Mobile stores and select dealers October 12th.
