Internally Sprint is promoting a “season of change” to both their employees and dealer partners. Earlier this week we reported that Sprint was doing away with their “bill to account” feature and now it looks like they’re premiere program.
Sprint’s premiere program allowed Sprint’s best customers to get an annual upgrade rather than having to wait for the end of a two year term.
Sprint has begun informing customers via email that December 31, 2011 is the last day that Sprint Premiere Customers can take advantage of the annual upgrade.
Next year Sprint will being their upgrade policy up to par with those of Verizon Wireless and AT&T Mobility. All Sprint post paid customers will be eligible for an upgrade after 22 months and will start receiving prorated discounts a little earlier.
Sprint insists that they’ve asked customers and what Sprint customers want is truly unlimited data and a great selection of 3G and 4G devices.
Again, like with the “bill to account” perk ending, the Premiere Program, was another way for customers to achieve those same objectives.
