Motorola’s New 7″ Android Tablet Gets Caught On Camera

When Motorola Mobility CEO, Sanjay Jha, spoke on their 2nd quarter earnings call, Jha specifically said that in addition to the upgrade to the 3G Motorola Xoom, we could expect two more 4G/LTE tablets before the end of the year.

The tablet in the photo above may just be one of those tablets.  It’s been rumored for quite some time that Motorola is working on a 4G/LTE beast of an Android tablet headed to Verizon. In addition to the speed and performance Jha has promised a fun and more mobile friendly 7″ tablet and TIMN thinks that this is the one.

More after the break

You can see in the picture a side by side miniUSB and miniHDMI port which could possibly be positioned so close together to offer webtop applications on a tablet?

The camera phone shot is obviously someone’s desk as there is a second tablet on the desk which seems to be identical to this one and a fatter black phone that could possibly be the rumored Motorola Droid HD.  Jha has set some lofty goals for the company that is in the process of being acquired by Google for $12.9 billion dollars. As you probably know already it took Motorola 9 months to get the Motorola Droid Bionic into Verizon Wireless stores.

Samsung announced a 7.7″ Galaxy Tab at the IFA show in Berlin at the beginning of the month. They also have the Samsung Galaxy Tab plus releasing to T-Mobile later on this year.
