White Samsung Galaxy S II Slated For September Release In Japan

Samsung Japan has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S II will be available in a ceramic white color starting in mid September.  Pre-orders will be available starting August 24th on NTT DoCoMo. That’s actually five days before the US is expected to get the official word on the Samsung Galaxy S II on US carriers.

The Samsung Galaxy S II had a killer set of specs when it was announced this past February in Barcelona Spain at Mobile World Congress. Who wouldn’t want a 1.2 ghz dual core processor with a 4/3″ superAMOLED Plus display, 8mp rear facing camera, front facing camera and more right? Well now that we’re so late getting it in the United States other devices are allegedly right around the corner that will beat it out of the gate.

Annyone else a little put off by the fact that other markets are getting a second round of SGSII love before they pass it around here?  When did the US become the “kids table”
