Toshiba’s New Thin Android Tablet Ready For Unveiling At IFA (Photos)

Although the doors to the show floor buildings (yes buildings) haven’t even open yet at Messe Berlin for IFA 2011, NotebookItalia was able to grab some pictures of the new Toshiba Android Tablet.  We’re hearing that this ultra thin tablet running Honeycomb will be called the “excite” we will know later this afternoon after Toshiba’s press event.

We won’t get our hands on until later in the day but Notebookitalia reports that the 10.1″ tablet is very thin, has a chrome outline with an indention around the entire tablet. As leaked earlier the Toshiba tablet sports a microSD slot, microUSB port and a mini HDMI port, hardly as innovative as the full USB, full HDMI and full sized SD slot found on the Toshiba Thrive.

Also as expected Toshiba’s new tablet takes a break from the standard dual core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor found on most Honeycomb tablets and instead goes with the 1.5ghz dual core Texas Instruments OMAP4460 processor.

This tablet will get it’s officialization later today at IFA.
