ViewSonic’s Android Phones Launching In India

Viewsonic has been working on a full portfolio of Android based products including both tablets and smartphones.  Their first tablets launched here in the United States however it looks like their taking their smartphones to India for release.  According to the Mobile Indian site the Viewpad 4 and the V350 are launching in India sometime soon.

The Viewpad 4 features Android 2.3 Gingerbread along with a 4.1″ WVGA display, 5mp camera, 1ghz Qualcomm processor and Viewsonics 3D User Interface. It’s also flash enabled.

The Viewsonic V350 has a 3.5″ display and only Android 2.2 Froyo. The big feature on the V350 is that it is a dual sim phone this way Indian customers can have a work account and home account or any two combinations of SIMS that they choose. It’s also an active dual sim phone which means both sims are running at the same time so you can get both personal and work calls and make them from the line of your choice.

Viewsonic’s Country Manager for India, Ajay Sharma told the folks at the Mobile Indian “We will launch these two smartphones along with our tablets. Both the phones are high on technology and will offer superior functionality. We will also introduce our dual SIM technology and 3D interface with these phones.”
