Do you remember a few months back when it seemed like every Samsung Galaxy S owner in the world had Froyo before those in the United States.. Well here comes the Gingerbread man.
T-Mobile in the UK began to roll out the Android 2.3, Gingerbread, update to Samsung Galaxy S owners today. Unwired is reporting that those Samsung Galaxy S owners started seeing an update available over the air about 4 days ago however T-Mobile UK made it official on their user forum.
Unwired also brings up a great point, although Samsung took a very long time to get Froyo to US Samsung Galaxy S users and will probably take an equally long time with Gingerbread, at least Samsung has offered two Android full version updates where many devices from other manufacturers are slow to see even one update.
While this is great news for UK owners of the original Galaxy S, there is still nothing definitive on the US rollout of the Samsung Galaxy S II
