Metro PCS To Get Samsung Admire With Android 2.3 Gingerbread

MetroPCS is probably the most aggressive regional/prepaid carrier in the United States. They were the first carrier in the US to rollout any kind of 4G/LTE network. They’ve also been supportive of Android and currently has 4 Android handsets in their line up. Unfortunately none of them have the latest version of Android, Gingerbread.

Unwired is reporting by way of phonenews, that MetroPCS will be carrying the new Samsung Admire.¬† The Samsung Admire will feature a 3.5″ HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, 800mhz processor, TouchWiz and of course Gingerbread.

Metro PCS is also expecting the LG Bryce which will be a 4G/LTE capable Android with Android 2.3, basically the LG Revolution for MetroPCS.
