Asus Eee Pad Transformer 3G Breaks Cover In Italy

A lot of our twitter followers are upset with the fact that the Asus Eee Pad Transformer didn’t make it onto my list of tablet recommendations yesterday, if I had decided to do four tablets it would have. However that doesn’t discount that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is a bad ass piece of hardware.  In fact ASUS really shocked a lot of the tech community with the Transformer.

More after the break

Now earlier in the year ASUS announced three tablets. To date only one has come out, the Transformer.  The Transformer was also to be released in a 3G version starting in August. Although it’s not August yet we haven’t seen much movement on the 3G version of the Transformer until now.

Our friends at Unwired are reporting that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 3G has appeared as a “coming soon” on an Italian carriers website.  Although there is no date in the graphic there is some pricing information.  It was also reported that the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer 3G would hit the UK first and so far none of the UK carriers have added it to their websites.

Unwired is also reporting that the ASUS Eee Pad Slider was delayed until the fall just yesterday.  There is no firm release date on the 3G version of the Transformer in Italy or anywhere else for that matter, but just the fact that it’s shown up on an Italian website may be a relief to those holding out.
