Sprint and Motorola summoned the Android and mobile media to a special press luncheon event in Manhattan today.
Sprint’s CEO Dan Hesse and Motorola Mobility’s CEO Sanjay Jha took the stage together to unveil two new Android devices. The first device presented was the Motorola Photon 4G, Sprint’s “Atrix” variant. The other was the Motorola Triumph on Sprint’s prepaid brand Virgin Mobile.
The Motorola Photon 4G on Sprint sings with a 1ghz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1gig of ram, 8mega pixel dual flash camera, HD recording, 4.3″ screen and the ability to use the webtop accessories originally released with the Motorola Atrix 4G.

It’s a solid phone and as it gets closer to it’s Summer 2011 launch we will bring you more information on it however they did highlight how it’s optimized for computers, social users and enterprise. Enterprise enhancements include a Motorola “Ready For Business” initiative where the phone has been optimized with Enterprise features that will help get your IT guy to approve your Photon 4G for business.
The battery is 1700mah so it should give users that extra kick.
