UPDATE CTR AVAILABLE NOW: EXCLUSIVE: Do Twitter Clues Reveal Cut The Rope For Android Coming Tomorrow Via Getjar?

Update: After we posted the story below one of our followers, Derek B said he tried searching Get Jar, got Cut The Rope and downloaded it, so cat’s out of the bag, sorry Patrick but Cut The Rope for Android is here at Getjar here’s the link

Cut The Rope is one of the most popular iOS games. Although not quite as popular as Angry Birds, it’s close.. damn close…

Earlier this week our friends at Android Central discovered a Twitter account called @ctrandroid presumably the ctr stands for Cut The Rope.  The @ctrandroid account has been tweeting all kinds of clues about cut the rope for Android and the fact that it is coming out tomorrow at 5am PT/8am ET.

The clue below sent at 7:30pm Eastern time suggests a former Soviet Union country as the “home” of the app store.  GetJar was started by Ilja Laurs in Lithuania.

This tweet from yesterday suggests an app store that has successfully launched other incredibly catchy games with cute characters.  Of course everyone knows that Angry Birds for Android launched on getjar with one million downloads in one day see the story here.

Now we can’t forget that Angry Birds Rio launched on the Amazon App Store so that’s still possible, however it doesn’t have that Soviet Union connection that Getjar does.  No matter what happens we’ll see at 8am eastern time Friday morning.  Get your rope cutting skills ready this launch will be epic
