Twitter Updates Their Mobile Web App

Thankfully Twitter has updated their mobile web application and it has turned into a much more user friendly way to check, tweet, or retweet through their mobile web page. the new update now shows @replies, messages, your twitter stream, and also the search feature that was missing from the previous version of Twitter.

The interface is also be improved and is already better than what we had seen previously. The new web page is very similar to that of the iPhone’s, but has a slight difference since it was turned upside down. Another great feature that was added in was the ability to click on a tweet and get to see whatever media is available quickly and easily along with having the normal functionality such as reply, retweet, and favorite.

Below you can read more from the official  Twitter blog:

“The app is fast – you can quickly scroll through your timeline, move between tabs and compose Tweets. It’s rich – it takes advantage of capabilities that high-end device browsers offer, such as touch gestures and a large screen. And it’s simple – it’s easy-to-use and has the features you’d expect from a Twitter application, including your timeline, @mentions, messages that you can read in conversation view, search, trending topics, lists, and more.”
