Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 To Arrive With Honeycomb 3.1

We are anxiously awaiting the June 8th arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to retail. We received the limited edition version at Google I/O a couple weeks back and have been very impressed with the size, weight and functionality of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.   We also recently received the Android Honeycomb 3.1 update to our Motorola Xoom.

More after the break

Now, we are hearing via Samsung’s Facebook page and Android Police that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will ship with Android 3.1 Honeycomb or in the absolute worst case with an instant update.

Although we haven’t heard anything about 3g/4g models or carrier partners we have heard that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be available on June 8th at Best Buy and other big box retailers in the United States.  Samsung’s CTO Omar Khan broke Samsung Tradition by giving us both cost and availability during their second “unpacked” event in Orlando at CTIA.
