According to Samsung Mobiles India account, the Samsung Galaxy S II, has been delayed world wide. Now the Galaxy S II is not do to launch until June, which is a month later than the original launch was supposed to take place.
It seems that the delay is due to a hardware change, according to GSM Arena. The processor in the phone seems to have been upgraded from a 1GHz to a 1.2 GHz. Also the microsite no longer lists the exact specs of the SGSII, which is probably due to the change in processors.
Overall, we are not sure why the decision to change the processors so late in the game happened, nor if Samsung has plans to also bump up the processors in their upcoming tablets, Tab 8.9 and 10.1. However, we will keep a close eye on this one, we are guessing that Samsung will make an announcement about this change in the coming future.
