Rumors of Google Partnering With Spotify For Google Cloud Music

The rumor of the day has to do with Google and Spotify. According to several sites Google may be talking to Spotify about partnering for Google Cloud Music. Spotify is a music streaming service that offers a wide range of features. Some of these features include the ability to create playlists, share music, buy music, and biographies of many artists.

From what we have heard Google may be in negotiations with the European company regarding their music streaming  service that we have been hearing quite a bit about. According to CNET’s source, Google has done some name dropping along with saying they have plans to hopefully work with a European music streaming service. However, neither Google nor Spotify have commented on this rumor as of yet.

Spotify, however, is not the first company Google has taken an interest in. Last year Google purchased Simplify Media, and there has been plenty of rumors surrounding Google’s Cloud Music for some time now.

With the rumors surrounding Google’s jump into the music side, along with the launch of Amazon’s Cloud Drive and Player, we having been patiently waiting to hear more concrete information regarding Google and their Cloud Music, however as of now we may just have to be patient a little while longer.

Hopefully, we will hear more from Google themselves in the coming months. Stay tuned and we will be sure to keep you updated.
