We saw the debut of the first Motorola Xoom on Verizon, since then we have seen the WiFi only version show up at Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Staples. However, that’s not all Sprint is also said to be recieving the Xoom, along with the newest addition AT&T. Motorola’s Xoom sure is making the rounds.
We have being hearing about Motorola’s Xoom at least every other week. Last week we heard about the Xoom headed to Sprint as Wi-Fi only, with a future possibility of Wimax, and now rumor has it that the Xoom will also be headed to AT&T. A device from Motorola, known as the IHDT56ME1, has made an appearance at the FCC. The FCC describes the device as a wireless tablet that will support GSM and WCDMA bands 850 and1900.
We have been hearing rumors for quite sometime regarding the Xoom heading to AT&T, however, this is the first hard evidence we have seen that actual makes it a big possibility.
As of yet besides this screenshot, we still have yet to hear any official information regarding AT&T and the Xoom. However, I am sure we will be hearing something soon and we will be sure to keep you guys up to date.
Since Motorola seems keen on getting the Xoom on almost every carrier out there, how many of you think we will be seeing a T-Mobile Xoom in the future, especially with the possible AT&T/T-Mobile merger? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
