Wi-Fi Only HTC Flyer Being Released Exclusively To Best Buy This Spring

Sprint’s version of the HTC Flyer, the EVO View 4G, finally made its big appearance in the US. Now it seems that the HTC Flyer may also be available exclusively at Best Buy this spring.

Best Buy’s HTC Flyer will be a Wi-Fi only version with specs similar to other Android Tablets. However, the Wi-Fi only Flyer will have Gingerbread instead of Android’s Honeycomb, and will run on a 1.5GHz Qualcomm chip instead of the ever so loved Tegra 2 dual core. Specs also include a 7″ capacitive display and an aluminum shell.

Rumor is that the Wi-Fi only Flyer will be available before Sprint’s version, the EVO View 4g, which is expected this summer. We will be keeping a close eye out for release dates and pricing on Best Buy’s Wi-Fi only Flyer and let you guys know know as soon as it is available.
