Verizon Adds Thunderbolt Device Showcase To Android Market

Please read with me aloud: The following information has no bearing on any release date of the phone otherwise known as the HTC Thunderbolt on Verizon Wireless it’s for informational purposes only!

Ok now that we have the business out of the way our good friend Kellex over at Droid-Life is reporting that Verizon has uploaded the HTC Thunderbolt Showcase app to the Android market.  The HTC Thunderbolt showcase app, is an app meant for Verizon personnel to show off the features of the upcoming Verizon HTC Thunderbolt.

There is nothing in this article whatsoever about the release date of the Thunderbolt.  If you recall, the VZW Navigator for the Thunderbolt was put into the Android Market, which was again no sign of a date for the Thunderbolt.

However, Droid-Life (who doesn’t typically spew nonsense or make up screen shots and pdfs for their hits) also has it from a good source that 4G LTE SIMS were activated for demo units of the Thunderbolt yesterday (Wednesday), and this IS a good sign.

While it’s apparent Verizon is checking things off their checklist you can bet your paycheck that from here on out they are going to make darn sure this phone launches smoothly and with as minimal issues as possible.
