Samsung Stealth 4G Has Double The Battery Life Of HTC Thunderbolt?

The Samsung Galaxy S 4G/LTE Exclusively From Verizon not to be confused with the Samsung Galaxy S 4G Exclusively From T-Mobile 🙂 photo: TDG2011 you know the site that Noah Kravitz is at now, is reporting extensive information about the problems the HTC Thunderbolt is having. According to this report the HTC Thunderbolt is still suffering major battery life problems. Technobuffalo’s source, who is testing the HTC Thunderbolt, is reporting 5 hours of battery life on average use at best.

HTC is reportedly sending out daily firmware upgrades to get the HTC Thunderbolt battery problem solved so they can get them out to retail shelves.  The 4G/LTE radio seems to be what’s causing the problem and it’s that same 4G/LTE radio which is the selling point for the HTC Thunderbolt.

But.. the same source is also testing the Samsung Stealth 4G, and it’s getting 8-10 hours of battery life with the same level of use as the HTC Thunderbolt.

The issue of Skype video is also up in the air. We originally heard at CES that the HTC Thunderbolt would come with Skype with video, and then it wasn’t. Now the Samsung Stealth is just about ready and it’s reportedly coming with Skype mobile.

It will be interesting to see if the Stealth gets out ahead of the Thunderbolt
