The Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi edition will be available at Best Buy, Costco, Radio Shack, select Sams Club stores, Staples and Walmart. The 10.1″ widescreen tablet carries a manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) of $599 but we’ve seen pictures of the Xoom Wi-Fi Edition at Sam’s for $539.99 which is probably right on the money.
It seems that Motorola’s Wi-Fi Edition strategy is much more aggressive than even the wireless enabled version. The Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi will hit stores just about a month after the original was released and while people are still contemplating the iPad 2 verse Android tablet platform (the xoom is better hardware)
Now if they could just market it to people that shop at Costco, Sam’s Club and Walmart
(ps we are well aware that’s the Verizon model in the picture we are still on location at SXSW and wanted to get the story up)
