HTC Shooter with 2.3.2 headed for Sprint

According do the GL Benchmark database, Sprint should be receiving another high-end HTC device called the Shooter. Not much is known besides what is shown in the document (pictured above), but from the looks of it this phone could give the iPhone 4G a run for its money.

According to the document above, the HTC Shooter comes with Android 2.3.2, along with a 960×540 screen, and a qHD display. Overall, it has the same resolution as the iPhone, but won’t math the iPhone 4G’s pixel density. Also from what we can tell from the document the model number is PG86100 and is likely to ship with a dual core Qualcomm Snap Dragon processor.

Now what everyone is wondering is could this be the EVO 3D? Right now we can not tell if it will be the Evo 3D or not, but if does happen to be part of the Evo line up then be prepared for it to possible have WiMax, plus not to mention the 3D Sense UI. CTIA starts next week and all our questions concerning this device could be answered by then. Along with the possibility of Sprint revealing the HTC Shooter, we could also find out more regarding the EVO 3D (if it is not the Shooter), Nexus S 4G, and the HTC View tablet. IF Sprint does carrier these Android devices they could start becoming more of a rival to other carriers.

We will keep you posted as more information is divulged.
