Wireless News: Verizon Revives “Can You Hear Me Now” Echoing MG Siegler On AT&T

We think MG Siegler looks like, Paul Marcarelli the Verizon "Can You Hear Me Now" guy. Photo Credit: Borrowed from Paul Olanoffs Flickr by way of Google Search

When I saw MG Seigler at an industry event lat year I asked a colleague of mine,  “Hey doesn’t MG look like the Verizon guy”. “Which Verizon Guy” my colleague said. I replied “You know the can you hear me now guy”.

At that point I had thought Paul Macarelli was retired from Verizon’s advertising line up.  Apparently in his initial tenure he made enough money playing the “Verizon Test Man” that he had a million dollar apartment in Greenwich Village.

As a regular reader of Seigler’s over at the Tech Crunch Mafia  I read as he chronicled his problems with AT&T, finally dumping them a little earlier than planned when Google Voice opened up number porting. Then after playing with the iPhone 4 on Verizon for a week he released his review and the theme of it was finally people he called from his iPhone could hear him now….

Just watch the video if you haven’t seen it before:
