T-Mobile Adds A Splash Page For The Samsung Powered Sidekick 4G

Nothing says a phone is coming more than a teaser page on the companies website and today T-Mobile did just that with the highly anticipated Samsung powered T-Mobile Sidekick 4G.  You may remember the original Sidekick or hiptop by Danger. Danger being the brain child of one Andy Rubin who happens to head up Android at Google.

Here’s more on the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G when the story first broke.

The T-Mobile Sidekick originally came out in 2002 which was 5 years before the first iPhone was released. It was big and bulky but it had a really cool switch blade like keyboard and had everyone talking.  The Sidekick 4G will be 20x better. Samsung is developing this phone for T-Mobile.  Sharp made the most popular of the sidekick models in the past.

The splash page simply says “Coming Soon a 4G Sidekick powered by Android”.  There is also a graphic in the corner of the ad telling sidekick owners that managing their data is even easier and a click thru takes you to the my t-mobile website.  There is no word on the release but one of our ninjas told us March.
