AT&T Gives More Love To Android By Partnering With Open Feint

AT&T and Open Feint have announced a new partnership today that will bring Open Feint’s gigantic cross platform social gaming experience to AT&T Android handsets.  Shortly, AT&T Android users will start to see an Open Feint channel in the AT&T Android Market.

This unique partnership with Open Feint will bring thousands of good quality games to Android handsets on AT&T. Not only that but with the Open Feint social infrastructure players new and old will be able to track scores, see games their friends are playing and have access to an unparalleled gaming community. Open Feint is the largest social gaming network in the world with over 4500 games, 15,000 developers and 65 million users.

As AT&T prepared to lose the exclusivity of the iPhone earlier this week they keep improving their commitment to the Android community.  Ralp DeLaVega, AT&T Wireless CEO, introduced an aggressive 4G market rollout with 4 Android devices as the flagships for that network.  AT&T’s three fold strategy to back Android includes improvements in hardware, network and user experience, like this partnership with OpenFeint.
