A Primer To Android Development Offered In NYC

Chris Haseman the author of “Android Essentials” is offering a 4 session course in Android application development called “A Primer to Android Development” in New York City. The four classes are Thursday February 24th, March 3rd, March 17th and March 31st.

The cost for the entire course is $180 however Haseman promises you will leave the course with all the basics you need to develop applications on your own.

Students need to bring their laptops. The first session will focus on building an Android development environment covering IDA, SDK and emulator. Haseman will also teach the fundamentals of the Android SDK

Haseman says:

Students will study how an Android application functions and communicates with the handset, explore the complexities of timers, services, and multimedia playback, and gain an understanding of location-based development.

You need a basic understanding of programming in Java and your laptop
