Digitimes is reporting that Motorola plans on selling 800,000 Motorola Xoom tablets this quarter. Motorola plans to sell the dual core Xoom tablet in 4 different colors.
The piece in Digitimes also states that other hardware manufacturers had trouble getting priority status from Google for Android 3.0, Honeycomb. Google’s priority partners are Motorola, Samsung, LG and HTC. Acer already has prototypes of a 10″ tablet running Honeycomb that we had the opportunity to try out on Saturday at CES.
The Motorola Xoom features two cameras (Front and back) HDMI out, USB ports and an expansion slot to upgrade the Xoom from 3G to 4G LTE.
