Google’s Eric Schmidt Files To Sell $329 Million Worth Of Stock

Eric Schmidt, who is stepping up to the position of Executive Chairman at Google, has filed to sell $329 million dollars worth of stock.  Before you curse the computer or Android device you are reading on because that is such a large amount of money, it only amounts to 5.9% of his total holdings of Google stock.

Schmidt owns 9.2 million shares of Google stock (which closed at $611.83 per share today) this transaction represents 534,000 shares of stock.

Also it’s worthy to note that Eric Schmidt, Larry Page and Sergey Brin all earn $1 each for annual salary and make their money via stocks and bonuses.
