Sprint Teams Up With MTV For One Rocking Sprint ID

Sprint has teamed up with Viacom’s MTV to create one heck of a reason to consider getting a Kyocera Zio, Samsung Transform or LG Optimus S. Its the new MTV SprintID.

Sprint’s CEO, Dan Hesse, unveiled the new Sprint ID concept in October at the CTIA Enterprise & Applications Event.¬† The Sprint ID is a convergence of apps, widgets, and wallpapers put together as a theme. Sprint has several exciting content partners working with them on SprintID. Disney, ESPN, HSN and Mtv are just some of those partners.

The new Mtv SprintID offers one click access to applications, widgets, wallpapers and ringtones selected by MTV for the music loving generation.

The MTV ID includes:
Mtv Meter
Mtv News App
Mtv headlines widget
Mtv photos
Mtv twitter

Of course users of Android devices with SprintID still have full access to the full Android Market so they can tweak their Mtv SprintID, but that list of apps is pretty solid. In fact the only thing thats not included that we would suggest is Shazam but they’ve included Soundhound instead.
