Pantech Entering The Android Space

South Korean phone maker Pantech has submitted specs to the FCC for a new Android device. Pantech was established in 2000 and is widely known for their feature phone products.

The new Pantech Android phone which is currently being identified as the P-8000 will support GSM/EDGE and HSPA 3G on the 850mhz and 1900mhz bands which means it’s headed to AT&T. It also has bluetooth and wifi and is reported to the FCC as being an Android device.
