Fortune Tech has compiled a nice chronological showing of Millennial Media’s mobile ad pie charts for the last year. The current October chart, released today by Millennial, shows a neck and neck tie between Android and iPhone.
In their last report Android had 17% of the mobile ad clicks while Apple’s IOS held 56%. The last reporting period ended in June 2010.
Millennial Media is the last large independent mobile ad network since Google acquired AdMob and Apple acquired Quattro Wireless. Apple has also been deploying their own iAds network.
This is more evidence that Android is moving full stream ahead with no end in site. At last count there were 93 devices running the Android Operating System.
