Samsung Galaxy S Is out in the United States thanks to t-mobile

With most of the Android attention focused on Verizon’s launch of the Motorola Droid X today, we wanted to point out that T-Mobile’s Samsung Vibrant, A Galaxy S Smartphone, hit the shelves at retail outlets nationwide.

The Samsung Vibrant, A Galaxy S Smartphone, is the first of the Samsung Galaxy S series to hit US consumers. The Samsung Galaxy S has been on sale in Korea and has sold over 300,000 units there.

The Samsung Vibrant on T-mobile is a feature rich, and powerful smartphone running Android 2.1 the latest comercially available release of the OS. When you combine the Super AMOLED screen with the 1ghz hummingbird processor it brings a multi-media experience to your handset that is unparalleled by any other device on any carrier that is comercially available to date.

The T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant, A Galaxy S Smartphone, comes with the Sims, Mobitv, Slacker Radio, Amazon Kindle and James Cameron’s Avatar pre-loaded.

For those on the go The Samsung Vibrant also offers a Gogo inflight internet app for using your Samsung Vibrant on Airlines with the GoGo inflight service. This allows for a nearly seemless use of your handset on the ground, in the air, virtually anywhere.
