Samsung Galaxy S comes to Sprint as Epic 4G

Ok although this will only make the 2nd 4g phone on Sprint I love it when Sprint releases a 4g phone because it’s actually called XXX 4G because it runs on 4G/Wimax.. not like our little friend over at Apple/AT&T; that people think is called the 4g but it’s really just the 4…

Samsung is making an Epic move by releasing their Samsung Galaxy S phone to all 4 carriers at one time which are:

Samsung Captivate on AT&T;
Samsung Vibrant on T-Mobile
Samsung Fascinate on Verizon

and now
The Samsung Epic 4 G on Sprint. While the Captivate, Vibrant and Fascinate are all very similar in design the Samsung Epic 4 G has two very noticeable features that the others don’t, they are:
a Qwerty keyboard and a 4G/Wimax radio.

The other features are:
1Ghz humming bird processor (processes 89 million triangles 4x what the 1ghz Snapdragon can put out)
5 Megapixel camera with LED Flash
720p HD Video Recording
Second front facing VGA camera
Outdoor Viewable Super AMOLED Display
DLNA Support

No exact date has been revealed for the Epic 4Gs launch but we can make a safe assumption it will be this summer with the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S series. We will probably find out tomorrow! In the meantime if you’re intrested in finding out more about it, register at
