During the heat of the IFA convention in Berlin Germany, The World Cyber Games Euro Finals took place sponsored by Samsung, Samsung Mobile, Samsung Syncmaster and Samsung Imaging. The World Cyber Games is a gaming tournament featuring the best players of the best games on earth. The Samsung Galaxy S is the official mobile device of the World Cyber Games.

The WCG (World Cyber Games) began 10 years ago and has spread to include over 20 countries world wide and the best of the best players.  The WCG Euro Finals saw players participate in very competitive tournament style in: Warcraft II, FIFA Soccer 10, Trackmania, Guitar Hero 5, and Counterstrike. Over 100 players from 20 countries converged on the Messe Center in Berlin, and the IFA convention to compete for over 54,000 Euro in cash and prizes.

On September 7th there was a video conference held for participants in the World Cyber Games to see who would be coming to the Los Angeles Convention center at the end of this month.  The Grand Final event will feature players playing; Asphalt 5,  Carom 3D, Counter Strike, FIFA 10, Forza Motorsports 3, Guitar Hero 5, Starcraft Brood War, Tekken 6, Trackmania Nations Forever, and Warcraft III Frozen Time.

At the grand final in Los Angeles these elite gamers will compete for the title of “Best Gamer in the World” and little things like $100, 000 dollars in cash and prizes including the ultimate Samsung Electronics Package.
