Note 4 Keeps Running The Same Updates

Problem: On Galaxy Note 4 Android keeps running the same updates repeatedly – no error messages just endless “Updates are Available,” then downloaded, ‘Android is updating,’ the “finishes” but – checking update status still shows ‘updates are available’ and the entire loop starts all over again (I’ve done this half a dozen times already). The phone is running Android version 6.0.1, phone name SAMSUNG-SM-N910V, Model SM-N910V, Security Patch Level January 1, 2017, Kernel ver 3.10.40, Build # MMB9M.N910VVRS2CQA1.. Very frustrating.

Solution: There have been several instances such as this that have been experienced by several owners of not only this model but other models. If the same software version keeps on popping up then you will need to do a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the update.

Note 4 Keeps Restarting After Marshmallow Update

Problem: hi i’m Samsung note 4 user, my note 4 keeps restarting after marshmallow update to avoid this problem i started using App ”wake lock” restarting problem is solved by this method after 1 month when i remove my battery to change SIM or SD it goes to downloading mode . i changed the battery also but still same problem . when i contact service center they always tell motherboard problem plz help me out

Solution: Using an app such as Wake Lock to resolve the problem is a temporary stop gap measure. What you will want to do is to use the root cause of the problem. If this issue occurs right after a major software update then there’s a possibility that it is caused by some form of old software data that got left behind during the upgrade process. What you should do first in this case is to do a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing the reset. Once the reset is complete do not install any apps in your phone yet. Try to check first if the issue still occurs. If it does then this is most likely caused by a hardware failure. The additional troubleshooting steps that you can do are as follows.

  • Replace the battery with a new one.
  • If your phone has a microSD card installed then try removing it.

If the issue persists then you should bring your phone to a service center and have it checked.

Note 4 Screen Turns Pink After Updating Facebook

Problem: Hello. I ‘ve been trying to find an answer to my question in google but i found nothing.  So, 2 months ago i updated facebook app and since then the display became pink and there are facebook icons as a background all the time.  I’ve updated facebook already twice but the screen color doesn’t change.could you please help me to solve this problem..  Thank you   Best wishes

Solution: The first thing that you should do is to check if the Facebook app is causing this problem by uninstalling its updates. If the issue still occurs then perform the following troubleshooting steps listed below. After performing a step check if the issue still occurs. If it does then move to the next step.

  • Start the phone in Safe Mode. When the phone operates in this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run. If the issue does not occur in this mode then it could be caused by an app you downloaded. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
  • Wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode.
  • Backup your phone data and do a factory reset.

If the issue still occurs even after performing the steps listed above then this could already be caused by an issue with the display. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.

Note 4 Error When Installing Phone Update

Problem: My note 4 has a new update for 3/9/2017 when i download the update file (508 mb) it required to restart the phone, it restarts opening android screen and when it gets to 32% it stops and give me error the the phone restart again giving me no update has done ,, i have done it many times and everytime gives the same .. what should I do? ?…..btw i am not from United States but i can’t find my country in selection.

Solution: Sometimes when errors occur during the installation of the software update this is mostly due to insufficient internal storage space. Try to check if your phone has enough space available. If you have some personal data stored in the phone such as music, videos, or photos then try moving this to the microSD card. You should also temporarily uninstall apps that take up too much space.

Note 4 Unfortunately Apps Stop Working Error

Problem: Hi, I’m having some serious and sudden issues with my Note 4. It first started with battery problem, i bought a new one and now the phone is out of control. I keep getting pop ups of unfortunately messages for all the apps. I’ve cleared the cache and data for apps, i’ve cleared cache partition, i’ve done factory reset about 5 times now and even took the phone to a phone place to get it looked at and reinstalled the software and a factory reset and i’m still having issues with the phone!!! What do I do?? I’ve tried everything, literally from your site and on youtube and nothing is working. Could this be a hardware issue?? Plzzzz help this phone is unusable as everything stops by itself and decides to restart every 5 minutes and now i have no signal and im in the house where i always have signal… what do i do??? Thanks!!

Solution: If doing a factory reset and flashing the phone software does not fix the problem thn this is most likely a hardware related problem already. I recommend that you have this checked at a service center.

Problem: Once I install CVS pharmacy app then open app and try to create account after all information is entered correctly and click on create account it Cycles through and does not let me know that my account has been created I uninstall the app and reinstall the app and it continues to do the same thing

Solution: Try to check if the information is stored when your phone is connected to the Internet. If the same issue occurs and you have made sure to have clicked on Save or Create Account after entering your details then you need to contact the app developer regarding this problem.
