Huawei updates the Mate 9 with 10x digital zoom and the December security patch

Huawei Mate 9

The #Huawei #Mate9 is now receiving an over-the-air firmware update which brings the December security patch on board, along with 10x digital zoom for the camera. This dual-camera handset was launched by the company recently in select markets, so a handful of people are already in possession of it.

The update is being introduced along with build MHA-AL00C00B153, so make sure you keep a note of that if you’re looking for an update on the handset. Naturally, it might take some time for this particular firmware to reach all devices simultaneously, so remain patient if you’re not seeing it on your smartphone as of yet.

The Mate 9 is a powerful flagship and the presence of dual rear cameras puts it in company of a couple of other handsets. Have you received the update yet? Be sure to let us know in the comments section below.
