According to a new report, Samsung’s 2017 iteration of the #GalaxyA7 is going to be a showstopper in terms of internal hardware. One of the key features being rumored in this new report is the presence of IP68 water/dust resistance, which is only seen on the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge right now. This indicates that Samsung is willing to bring this particular feature to its mid-ranged offerings as well.
Further, the smartphone will apparently feature a 5.7-inch 1080p display (up from 5.5-inches on the 2016 model), 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, the octa-core Exynos 7880 SoC, Android 6.0 or Android 7.0, and a 3,600 mAh battery. On the camera front, Samsung is apparently going to use a 16-megapixel sensor on the front and the back respectively, thus making this a true powerhouse in the mid-ranged market segment.
We still don’t have much knowledge about the release of the Galaxy A7 (2017), but it is hoped that the smartphone will be unveiled before the end of the year.
