The #OnePlus3 is a pretty stellar flagship. However, stocks have been relatively slim since the device was announced. It is said that this is due to the shortages in the AMOLED panels. This triggered rumors that the company would announce a newer model with an LCD panel to address the supply issues. A new rumor is now claiming that this device, known as the OnePlus 3T, will be announced by the company on the 14th of November, which is a little over a week from now.
The OnePlus top brass has categorically rejected the notion that the company would switch to LCD panels with its future flagship, thus indicating that the company will not compromise on quality. So what new features can the customers expect from the OnePlus 3T? Well, for starters, the device could be equipped with the Snapdragon 821 chipset, while the OnePlus 3 uses the Snapdragon 820 SoC on board. The storage could also be bumped to 128GB, making it more of an upgrade compared to the OnePlus 3.
Bear in mind that this is still a rumor, so we’re taking this with a grain of salt and suggest you do the same.
