Samsung to announce global Galaxy Note 7 recall soon

Galaxy Note 7

In what has come as a surprise to many (although the number is quickly diminishing), #Samsung is now reportedly gearing up to announce a recall of the Galaxy Note 7 units that have been sold so far.

This comes in the wake of several reports claiming the device to be featuring a faulty battery underneath, while some instances have even talked about units exploding. So this seems to be a safety measure more than anything. Samsung has apparently claimed that the issue is found in about 0.1% of the models sold so far, so the issue might not be as widespread as we believed.

As it stands, Samsung is in pretty deep crisis right now. Needless to say, fingers will be pointed internally which will inevitably lead to cutbacks and letoffs. So if you recently bought a Galaxy Note 7, you might soon have to send it back.

What do you make of this news? Have you faced any issues with your Galaxy Note 7?

  1. I live in the us and have this phone also. And I have also not had any problems with it. I love this phone and am really hoping that I don’t have to send mine back either.
