The #Samsung #GalaxyNote7 was formally recalled in the U.S. a couple of weeks ago. Samsung has been quick to act on these recalls and has seemingly offered replacements to 500,000 customers already. However, this is accounts for only half of all the customers who signed up for the recall, so Samsung still has some distance to go. But with that being said, it’s commendable of Samsung to get ahead of the issue and offer replacement units with necessary markers to make them easier to identify.
It is also being said that new Galaxy Note 7 units have to go through an X-Ray process to ensure that the innards are in order. So clearly, Samsung is leaving no stone unturned in making amends for the disastrous Galaxy Note 7 launch. The company is expected to start shipping new units of the handset across the globe by November. So if you happen to live outside North America, your wait for the Galaxy Note 7 just got longer.
