The #HTCBolt was originally leaked out a couple of weeks ago thanks to a trademark filing made by the company. It was subsequently revealed that the phone would be heading to #Sprint very soon. A new revelation by Evleaks is now giving us an up close look of the device itself, with some striking similarity to the HTC 10.
However, the rear LED flash seems to have been repositioned, and the 3.5mm headphone jack is also missing, possibly in favor of a USB Type-C hybrid port. This could prove to be a bold decision by HTC, but only time will tell if the market will embrace this massive omission. Apple is already receiving significant flak for leaving out the headphone jack with its new iPhones, but given the condition that HTC is in, it might not be able to handle a fresh wave of criticism.
Barring this, the device looks pretty attractive, much like the HTC 10. Device design is an area where HTC phones have been far ahead of the competition. But poor hardware choices have somewhat kept them behind.
