Verizon sending out WiFi calling update to the Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge

Galaxy S6

The #Verizon branded #Samsung #GalaxyS6 and the #GalaxyS6edge are now receiving a minor update which brings HD Voice and WiFi calling on board. The update could be pretty heavy in terms of size, even though there isn’t a lot in terms of features. The update is seeding to both devices right away, so it should have hit your smartphones by now. But if it hasn’t, there’s no need to lose hope as it’s probably on its way.

The software version will be bumped to MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPH1 post the update, which is perhaps the only noticeable change onboard, barring the addition of two new features. Much like other WiFi Calling compatible devices, you will be able to select the WiFi network of your choice to make phone calls from your desired wireless network. This is a feature designed to reduce reliance on mobile networks and is a godsend for regions where the coverage is wonky.

Make sure you head over to the link below for more details on the updates.
