According to a report emerging out of China, #Samsung is developing a new powerful chipset for the upcoming #GalaxyS8 flagship. This SoC, known as the Exynos 8895, will apparently have CPU clock speeds of up to 4.0 GHz, making it a truly powerful offering. It is said that the chip will be about 30% faster in terms of performance compared to the Exynos 8890.
The Exynos 8890 is currently used on some global and dual-SIM variants of the Galaxy S7, S7 edge and the Galaxy Note 7. So the same can be expected of the Exynos 8895 when (and if) it is launched next year. Speaking more about the Galaxy S8, the handset has been rumored to be packing a curved edge display, much like the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung has hinted that it will use curved-edge displays for all its Galaxy S flagships going forward.
It is being said that the handset will have a VR compatible 4K resolution display, which should make it a force to reckon with in the mobile industry.
