A new rumor is sharing some details on the rumored LG V10 successor, known as the LG V20. It is said that the smartphone will come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC, although we would have expected a Snapdragon 821 chip to be on board. Further, it is said that the device will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, 4GB of RAM and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The phone will apparently have a dual-camera arrangement on the front, while the back will have a decent 21-megapixel camera on board. With a launch expected sometime next month, the availability of Android Nougat seems like a bit of a stretch, but we wouldn’t be surprised if LG actually goes ahead with Nougat since Google might be sending out final builds of Android 7.0 already.
While it might be a bit of a letdown for many that there’s no 6GB of RAM on board, we don’t think it would be much of a problem as long as the performance isn’t hindered. We expect LG to market the V20 more aggressively compared to the predecessor, given that it saw a release in only a handful of markets.
