#Samsung and B&N have officially unveiled the Galaxy Tab A Nook, which is a 7-inch Android 5.1 based tablet, with some customized Nook features on board. Of course, there are some TouchWiz additions as well, making a perfect combination for those seeking a refined tablet experience along with access to Barnes & Noble’s library of books and other related content.
As you probably would have guessed by now, this is a budget device in terms of hardware. It features a 1280 x 800 resolution display, a quad-core processor (make not specified), 8GB of internal storage (expandable), 1.5GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and a 4,000 mAh battery.
This is basically a rebranded version of the Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016 edition). It’s a bit of a surprise that this particular offering is still running the two-year-old Android 5.1 operating system, but it seems like Samsung didn’t worry much about the software given the target demographic. The tablet is priced at $139.99. You can get the tablet for just $99.99 if you already own a Nook.
