Verizon Galaxy Tab E 8.0 now getting the Android 6.0 update

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0

Android 6.0 is everywhere of late. Although it’s been more than 8 months since the OS was made official by #Google. This goes to show that manufacturers and carriers have been relatively slow with regards to updating their devices.

Anyway, if you’re the owner of the #Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 on #Verizon, you should be expecting an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow any minute now.

The carrier has seemingly begun the update rollout process as of yesterday. If you’re not seeing it yet, you can be assured that it will be sent out to the tablet by the end of the week. Verizon’s updates usually don’t take long to roll out, so most users should get Marshmallow on their Galaxy Tab E 8.0 fairly soon. The update comes with the software version T377VVRU1BPD6.

You can try hitting the Settings page to look for an update if you haven’t received a notification. Already seeing the update? Make sure you let us know in the comments section below.
