The #OnePlus3 is gearing up for a release on the 14th of June. But as we lead up to its inevitable arrival, we are bound to find some leaks (intentional or otherwise) that give us a very good idea of what to expect from the handset. We’re now getting a look at the camera performance of the smartphone thanks to a couple of pictures posted online. These confirm the presence of a 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor on the front and back respectively.
As you can see from the gallery below, the rear camera shots are mostly close range, so we can’t really comment on the handset’s performance as of yet. But if this image is anything to go by, the camera seems pretty decent. The OnePlus 2 was no slouch in terms of camera, so it’s good to see that the company is upholding the same values to the new flagship as well.
The selfie taken from the camera looks pretty decent, so we have no reason to complain right now, at least with regards to the camera performance. With the device expected to be available in about a week from now, the company recently announced that it will take 1,000 pre-orders of the handset on June 6 (i.e. today).
