Project Tango has been under development for a couple of years now. It has long been rumored that the first device from this augmented reality based software will come from #Lenovo. A new revelation by @evleaks a.k.a Evan Blass has now substantiated this with the leakster claiming that the device will be known as the PHAB2 Pro and will sport a 6.4-inch Quad HD resolution display on board.
For those still unaware, augmented reality is quite different from virtual reality. With Project Tango, Google plans to get a bunch of developers on board to create products and services that could help people in all walks of life, including education. Project Tango also aims to make indoor mapping much better thanks to the additional set of cameras available on devices.
It has previously been mentioned that the Tango phone will be launched by Lenovo sometime in July this year, so we only have about a month to wait.
